We are very pleased to welcome Audrey Winograd to our team.

Audrey is a lawyer and hospice-trained medical social worker with experience in neurology, oncology, chronic disease, and end-of-life care. She holds a law degree from Rutgers University, a Masters in Organizational Development from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters of Social work from the University of Vermont. Audrey brings 40 years of experience in the field of organizational and community work, personal empowerment and patient-centered care. As a medical psycho-therapist she empowers clients to enhance one’s lived experience today, while engaging in shared decision making for tomorrow.

“This work lies at the intersection of law, medicine, and ethics. Yet, it is more than just a good match for my skill set," Audrey says of her new post at PCV. "I am more passionate about the mission of PCV than any other issue. Beyond the mission, what really drew me to PCV is the interdisciplinary team who work tirelessly to protect patient choice, facilitate access, and enable people to make informed, carefully considered decisions.”

Audrey will work to further develop and deliver educational materials and workshops for patients, families, community members, medical clinicians, and personal advisors. She will help coordinate volunteers and engage with medical professionals and organizations.  Audrey welcomes your ideas and issues, questions and comments. She urges as well, “Please help to make this work possible by supporting the work of PCV in whatever way you can.  Together, we will strive to strengthen patient choice and ensure the fulfillment of each person’s end of life wishes.”

Audrey can be reached via email at audreywinograd@gmail.com or through our helpline at  802.448.0542.
